View Our Customer's Projects  Oakley Solid Wood has excellent, natural insulating properties and is well known for its sound deadening and acoustic characteristics. This makes it ideal for use in any commercial or residential environment, where these qualities are important. The panels are stable and strong; however, they are light in weight. This makes them far easier to hold in place and fix to wall surfaces than heavy MDF. They are straightforward to fit. Just use a good quality mastic glue on the 'B' face of the panel and apply it to the wall. The panels butt together seamlessly and mould perfectly to your wall surface. Oakley Timber is carefully kiln dried to 12% moisture content and so you won't experience any shrinkage with the panels. We supply this product in natural wood ready for finishing. The panels have a sanded surface which is ideal for all types of finish. Clear varnish, wax, Danish Oils and all paints all work perfectly with this premium product. Dado rails and skirting boards are also available on our website. Sheet Sizes - H800mm x W600mm = 0.48 m2, H1200mm x W600mm = 0.72 m2, H2400mm x W600mm = 1.44 m2 9mm, 12mm & 18mm thicknesses are available.
